Newspaper Article
I don't know how many people saw the newspaper article in the Daily News Journal. If you are checking the blog out, please leave a message and let us know where you're from. Also, what would like to see us post on this blog? We have some ideas but are interested to hear yours as well. I guess we'll see if anyone read the article in the paper or on-line. LOL!!!
Harris Teeter Tripling Coupons
Ht will begin tripling coupons worth up to .99 and there is a limit of 20. I have not been impressed with shopping at HT. First,it is a long drive to the nearest one. Second, there prices are higher to start with. Lastly, they run out of the items that are free/really cheap after the coupon(q) and don't restock. Please note:there is a limit of 20 q's per day. The only reason I mention the triples is that Kroger will usually triple q's to compete with them. This starts on Wed. and I will check with the closest Kroger to see if they are participating. Check back to see.

Coupon inserts
There were no coupon inserts this week. Usually, there aren't any coupon inserts on holiday weekends such as Easter,Memorial Day,July 4,Labor Day,Thanksgiving,Christmas and New Year's. There might be some other random date that there are no inserts but none come to mind at this time. So,don't buy lots of papers on these Sundays.
PUBLIX CHANGES THE COUPON GAME RULES
OK! I was told today by the powers that be at the Publix on Sam Ridley that the rules have changed. You can no longer use a manufacturer q, a store q and a competitor's q combined together on the same item. You can use a manufacturer and a store q OR competitor's q but not both. I'm slightly disappointed by this but not surprised.Well,it was good while it lasted. This policy may vary by store so check with each one before you start shopping.
